Job Description:

Position Requirements and Qualifications: Self-motivated, self-confident, results-oriented individual who can manage several tasks simultaneously and work in abstract environments. Minimum three years of related experience working in a sales position with significant financial and strategic responsibility. Membership/ account management experience is highly preferred. Must have strong computer skills and working knowledge of customer relationship management databases. Knowledge of the local community is preferred. Professional presence, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work some early morning and evening hours a few times a month associated with various chamber events.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for all phases of membership development, which includes recruiting new members, orientation and activation of new members, retention of current members, and delivery of member-related programs and services.

Specific Duties:

Develop a membership marketing plan to target new members, expand membership market share, increase awareness of Chamber membership benefits, and enhance member involvement.

Schedule personal visits and meetings with potential chamber members.

Close sales during on site visits or through follow up phone calls and written communication.

Coordinate and manage the new member onboarding process.

Achieve budgeted new membership revenue goals.

Coordinate and manage the annual membership renewal process and meet yearly renewal revenue goals.

Coordinate and support all membership benefit fulfillment.

Assist Chamber members in taking full advantage of their membership.

Manage Chamber s Ribbon Cutting program.

Oversee and manage the chamber membership database and produce regular reports.

Work with Membership Committee to achieve membership goals.

Administer and manage the Chamber Ambassador program.

Actively support, plan, and participate in Chamber events and programs.

Other duties as assigned.
