**Job Description**
Responsible for coordinating all dimensions of the program for the annual International Corporate Citizenship Conference. The successful candidate will have superb attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, creativity, and real-time problem solving skills. Must be an unflappable professional who can manage in a fast-paced environment and network of program contributors-both Center staff and from among the corporate membership of the Center for Corporate Citizenship as well as more well known personalities. The person must be able to manage contracted vendors and contributors to deliverables, on schedule and on budget.
This position also supports logistics and program needs for the Center's overall program including executive education and affinity group programs; and other special events such as Executive Forum meetings, and regional meetings as needed. Works with the marketing team to broaden the Center's corporate membership base through the creative use of place-based and Internet-hosted events. Responsible for designing and executing the run of show on all events including load ins and outs.
This position directs all purchasing and contracting related to special events and special projects including the Center's annual conference. Tasks involved in this include, but are not limited to, documenting sponsor agreements, managing sponsor relationships, planning and executing hospitality for VIPs, negotiating site contracts, work orders, and service agreements, and all other services that may arise.
+ Plan and manage the CCC's annual International Corporate Citizenship Conference, generating ~$1,400,000+ in annual revenue
+ Act as event producer
+ Serve as liaison with sponsors, speakers, moderators and facilitators
+ Contract and direct work of external vendors, as needed
+ Responsible for all logistics contracts for ALL programs
+ Plan with the Director, Marketing & Communications on all event marketing
+ Work with the Directors of Executive Education and Membership to develop and execute events that support their goals
+ Supervise vendor selection and vendor contract management for all event logistics providers.
+ Identify and target speaking opportunities nationally and globally in order to position CCC as the thought leader on corporate citizenship.
+ Interact closely with other University personnel, including procurement and the Bureau of Conferences

**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Master's in related field preferred, with 3 years professional project management/events management experience.
Candidate must also have:
+ Event management expertise, preferably with Certified Meeting Professional credential
+ Exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills
+ Ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Effective managing to deadlines
+ Ability to anticipate event revenues and resource needs, and ability to manage projects within budget
