55 Seventy is expanding into Houston with an incredible new club in the River Oaks area. We're looking for an individual to serve as the Membership Sales Director at 55 Seventy Houston where you will be the face of the club, developing relationships with potential members and growing the membership base with the right individuals who embody the 55 Seventy ethos. This role requires a self-motivated experienced sales professional with deep relationships across the Houston community of executives, business leaders, and individuals along with being a dynamic leader with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering top-tier service.

We are seeking a Membership Sales Director to be an integral part of team and elevate our Member's experience. This person will lead the communication, interaction, and outreach for all current and prospective members.

The Membership Sales Director is responsible for all aspects of generating new membership leads, converting prospective members, managing a waitlist, coordinating visits, organizing prospect events etc. Upon opening of the club, this position is responsible for managing member communications, addressing issues and questions, and ensuring a positive experience and flow of communication for the membership. This position will play a pivotal role in defining the club's membership dynamic and is often the face of the 55 Seventy club as they will serve the first point of communication for prospects.

This position will require the candidate to work some nights and occasionally weekends!

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a marketing and event plan to generate new membership leads.
  • Coordinate and handle logistics for all for prospective members from outreach through approval and payment.
  • Manage communication for members including frequent surveys, general sentiment surveys, personal discussions and other required mediums to keep a pulse on the needs of the members.
  • Engage with current members to understand the needs and wants of members to help direct the future of the club.
  • Analyze and report monthly membership and prospect KPIs and statistics.
  • Communicate with management and provide suggestions and feedback to ensure member satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:

    • Strong passion for hospitality, events, and wine, more importantly a passion for customer service and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
    • Ten (10) years of experience in a related role requiring frequent guest interaction, ensuring guest satisfaction, coordination and guest outreach (verbal and written), strategic planning and problem solving.
    • Five (5) years of leadership experience in hospitality management, a guest interaction position, membership sales, or related role.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, travel industry management or related field; but relevant experience can substitute for degree requirements.
