POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the direction, operation, supervision and growth of Association Membership. Will provide direct leadership for the promotion and delivery of membership to three or four family centers. Your role will be a direct the liaison between our Marketing and internal center membership teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in the regions you support.
Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth and will work closely with various Center Executive Directors, Membership Directors, Program, Fitness, Philanthropy, Corporate Sponsorships and School Directors and our Annual Turkey Trot fundraising campaign
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
* Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
* Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
* Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
* Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market with local businesses, public and private schools, colleges and universities, senior adult retirement communities, local state government agencies, houses of faith, and various county fairs through cold calls, face-to-face appointments, and emails and capture those sales activities in a CRM system. This is highly visible position in the local community.
* Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Y personnel
* Reports to the Sr. Executive Director of Association Sales with a dotted line to area Executive Directors on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
* Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
* Organizes membership events at the YMCA and represents the YMCA at community events to promote Y initiatives and sales
* Creation of weekly sales pipeline and completion of routine sales reports
