POSITION: MEMBERSHIP SPECIALIST

Allied Construction Industries (ACI) is a not-for-profit trade association serving the Cincinnati region's commercial construction industry. The commercial construction sector in the Cincinnati region is responsible for $9.2B in economic activity annually and 54,282 jobs. JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a full-time Membership Specialist. The person in this role will be an important part of the ACI team and will help deliver value to our 500+ members and partners. In addition to being an integral contributor to the membership activities of ACI, this person will assist in ensuring the smooth operations of ACI. This is a unique opportunity for a person looking for an exciting, multi-faceted role that truly makes a difference.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports Membership & Operations through member retention and acquisition efforts, including but not limited to member and partner outreach and follow-ups; maintains an organized pipeline for member inquiries and assists in tracking metrics such as opportunities, conversion rates, and trends.
  • Maintains accurate tracking and reporting of membership activities, including renewal reminders and campaigns for prospective members, using the CRM (Personify); supports account management efforts by assisting in monitoring accounts receivable, flagging payment discrepancies, and coordinating resolutions.
  • Monitors member engagement and utilization of services; identifies and recommends ways for members to engage more deeply with ACI and our members.
  • Coordinate logistics for events and outreach programs that promote networking opportunities for members including assisting with registration, sponsorship tracking, vendor coordination, and venue preparations.
  • Assists with data entry of construction projects in the proprietary ACI Construction Connection software, ensuring information accuracy.
  • Manages the Tri-State Area Safety Council by setting up monthly meetings and speakers, keeps both CRM and BWC portals updated regularly, follows up with member and prospective inquiries, and completes all monthly and annual tasks to maintain compliance with the BWC.
  • Provides general administrative support for company operations, including managing supply orders, assisting with meeting room rentals, and addressing other logistical needs to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years minimum of business experience
  • Competency and comfort working in enterprise-level CRM software, e.g., Personify, Microsoft CRM, SalesForce, or the equivalent

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with sales and sales funnels
  • Excellence in customer service
