The Membership Specialist delivers unparalleled hospitality, fosters strong guest relations, and manages an exclusive membership program. He/She serves as the primary point of contact for members and guests and ensures a welcoming and personalized experience. The Membership Specialist responds to membership inquiries, renewals, and upgrades with a proactive and customer-focused approach. He/She possesses a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, an eye for detail, and the ability to cater to the discerning tastes of our high-end clientele.
Job Responsibilities
Guest Relations and Concierge Services
- Anticipate and address member needs, providing tailored recommendations for cigars, pairings, and services
- Coordinate and manage guest reservations, private events, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members to enhance loyalty and engagement
Membership Management
- Onboard new members, ensuring a seamless introduction to the lounge's amenities, benefits, and policies
- Maintain accurate membership records and ensure timely communication regarding benefits, events, and updates
- Curate and implement member-exclusive events and experiences, fostering a sense of community and exclusivity
Hospitality and Brand Representation
- Embody the sophistication and standards of a luxury brand through polished communication, appearance, and demeanor
- Collaborate with the lounge team to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations, staying up to date on cigar trends, pairings, and offerings
- Handle member and guest feedback with discretion, resolving concerns promptly and effectively
Administrative and Operational Support
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, newsletters, and communications related to the membership program
- Partner with management to strategize and implement initiatives to attract and retain members
- Track and report on membership metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of proven experience in luxury hospitality, concierge services, or membership management
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Must have foundational analytical skills; must be proficient in running and interpreting sales data reports to make informed decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with high-profile clientele
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of cigars, beverages, and luxury lifestyle is highly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Proficiency in CRM or membership management software is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bottles, trays and other equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Compensation, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
