We are seeking an outstanding Memory Care Director to oversee the day to day operation of Memory Care of a large premier senior living community in Redmond, WA. Job Description

As the Memory Care Director, you will beresponsible for overseeing compliance with all community policies and procedures and applicable state regulations as they apply to Memory Care. You will develop, implement, and maintain the Memory Care Unit through continuous improvement of services provide and develop relationships with residents, family and community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a therapeutic environment for residents with Alzheimer and other forms of Dementia.
  • Assist with providing staff with the appropriate training and support to address the emphasis of the program.
  • Coordinate staffing and responsibilities to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Assures quality of services through a continuous quality assurance and improvement programs
  • Provide quality care for residents to address medical needs.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Dementia training as required by state regulations.
  • Active WA State CNA or HCA License
  • 3-years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in assisted living, geriatric nursing, or gerontology and dementia care highly prefer.
  • Must possess a current state-specific driver's license and appropriate driving record.
  • Receives and maintains CPR certification.
