- Enforces program policies and procedures to ensure that program clients learn biblical principles to live a disciplined and healthy life
- Monitors the effectiveness of the program in meeting the needs of the clients and makes change recommendations to the Center Director
- Overseeing Inter-Departmental Communications
- Oversees finances for their location, petty cash, client funds
Client Oversight
- Ensures that new admissions are processed according to established policy
- Ensures new clients are orientated to the program. Orientation includes: program goals, graduation requirements, review of the client handbook, behavior expectations, grievance procedures, client request procedures, correspondence policies, and other information necessary for clients to understand and comply with program policies
- Monitors each client's academic, physical, emotional, and spiritual condition and progress in the program and makes recommendations for advancement and graduation
- Ensures that each client is receiving appropriate spiritual care from their PT assignments, pastoral counseling, and other programming.
- Receive input from care team for client evaluations
- Notifies the Center Director of significant changes in the status of clients in the program
- Holds group meetings with clients to discuss concerns and answers questions relating to the program
- Reviews client incidents and ensures appropriate follow-up action is taken
- Responds to client's fund and other requests on DB
- Set up and interview new mentors
- Assign mentors to clients
- Program activity planning along with the Supervisor and Admin
- Coordinates TCLI Audits
- Provides client disciplinary action
- Consequence Management System
- Assign Restorative Assignments
Pastoral Care
- Gives biblical guidance and advice to clients relating to their personal situations and needs
- Directs and leads devotions and bible studies for clients
- Prays with clients during corporate prayer gatherings
- Performs baptisms
Legal Affairs
- Provides periodic progress reports to probation officers and other court officials and immediately notifies appropriate authorities when clients are discharged or voluntarily leave the program
- Provides client representation at court appearances when needed
- Acts as a liaison between Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge and the court systems for all client matters via the Legal Liaison
- Maintains a legal calendar of all pending court cases (Legal Liaison)
Staff Supervision
- Interviews potential staff members for Administrative Positions and provides hiring recommendations to the Program Director
Other Duties
- Represents MTC at churches and at other public functions is assigned
- Leads worship services
- Other duties as assigned by Director or senior management
- On-call every other weekend for issues that may arise
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Previous working experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity at a drug and alcohol treatment program or Christian program
- Ability to model a lifestyle that is in compliance with Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge's Code of Conduct
- Strong ability to relate to and mentor people with life-controlling problems.
- Ability to apply biblical knowledge in an appropriate and relevant way to clients' individual life issues and needs
- Strong leadership skills (one on one and group situations).
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a demanding environment that contains frequent interruptions and schedule changes
- Strong administrative skills; database, spreadsheet and word processing computer skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization's vehicle insurance carrier
- Minimum two years freedom from alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use
- Ability to successfully complete background check process
