Summary:The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.Qualifications:
- Education: High School Graduate or GED.
- Experience: Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred.
- Certification/Licensure:
- BLS
- COAP within 30 days of onboarding
- Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
