Job Overview:The Mental Health Associate MHA will provide emotional support to the behavioral patients as well as basic CCT responsibilities.Qualifications:Required:* Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field or* 2 Years work experience in field of Mental Health* or 2 years patient care experience* BLS requiredEssential Functions:* Taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i,e, bathing, mouth care, skin care* Provide emotional support to the behavioral patients.* Assist in carrying out the behavioral plan of care such as diversional activities while keeping the patients safety at the forefront* Work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit.At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health.*
