Mental Health Clinical Supervisor #00277: Western Regional OfficeJob no: 5027750 Work type: Full-Time (Salaried) Location: Roanoke (City), Virginia Categories: Health and Human ServicesTitle: Mental Health Clinical Supervisor #00277: Western Regional OfficeState Role Title: Psych III/Psychology Assoc IIIHiring Range: $73,226 - $135,469Pay Band: 6Agency: Dept of Corr - Central AdminLocation: Western Regional OfficeAgency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - GJob DutiesThe individual in this position is responsible for the clinical supervision of Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) mental health services staff at designated facilities, consistent with contemporary mental health care and correctional standards.To provide clinical supervision, consultation, direction, and training to mental health services staff and to monitor the quality and effectiveness of mental health services provided to inmates in correctional settings.Minimum QualificationsAdvanced degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Social Work, or equivalent degree in related human services field from an accredited universityThorough working knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment modalitiesThorough working knowledge of principles and practices of supervisionKnowledge of treatment program design and evaluation, quality assessment, implementation, and evaluationSkill in working with professional and paraprofessional staff.
