Looking forward to your partnership in making a difference with us!Job Title:Mental Health Clinician / TherapistDivision/Program:(Inpatient) Crisis Residential UnitStarting Compensation:70000 - 85000 USD Per YearWorking Location:Merced, CAWorking Hours/Shift:Choice of a 5-day, 8-hour work schedule (Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday) or a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule, both schedules will include a weekend dayWhat SBHG brings to you (benefits):Competitive compensationCompany paid benefits package including medical, dental and vision and many other voluntary benefits for employeesGenerous vacation and holiday payOn the job training including paid CEU opportunities and career developmentAMFT, ACSW and APCC's receive supervision for BBS hours (when applicable)Click here to learn more: you bring to SBHG:Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university required(4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults preferred.BBS Registered: APCC, ACSW, AMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT requiredHow you will make a difference:Prepares a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment on assigned clients, in addition to an intake note, daily progress notes, summary notes (as may be required) and a discharge summary.Responsible for assessing client's readiness for admission and coordination planning with treatment team, the client's case managers, and transferring facilitiesResponsible for assessing client's readiness for discharge and coordination planning with treatment team; working with case managers to effect appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services; coordinates benefits (Medi-Cal) with Business Office personnel; and maintains knowledge of community resources.Provides individual group therapy to clients on a weekly basis and as needed based on the needs of the clientsInterprets facility policies and procedures to clients and family members.Actively participates in treatment team meetings and is responsible for working with other disciplines to develop a coordinated treatment plan for assigned clients.Division/Program Overview: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation servicesPre-vocational or vocational counselingMedication evaluation and support servicesLearn more about SBHG at: Additional Information:...@starsinc.comSBHG and its affiliates acknowledge all COVID 19 vaccination guidelines and mandates recommended by the State of California Department of Public Health.
