The position at YAI provides the opportunity to gain exposure and experience working within the Center for Specialty Therapy and Premier HealthCare Article 16 clinics. This includes providing Mental Health services in the Article 16 clinics. Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities Conducts autism assessments with children, adolescents, and adultsCompletes written evaluations contemporaneously using Electronic Health RecordsParticipates in scheduled supervisionMeets monthly productivity expectationsWorks a forty-hour work weekChecks emails daily and responds to them in a timely mannerCompletes annual mandated OPWDD trainings, as required by the agencyParticipates as a member of the wider clinic multidisciplinary team (medical doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, etc.)Performs all other duties, as assignedMinimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Minimum requirements of specific positions may vary by assigned function and/or contract. All Mental Health Clinicians must meet the following minimum requirements: Qualified licensed professional (LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, Licensed Psychologist) working under the direction of licensed clinical supervisors Ability to communicate well verbally and for written clinical notes/reports Eagerness to learn and responsive to supervision Positive attitude and strong desire to help individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above) Experience working with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities a plusCoursework or on the job training in clinical and psychological assessmentExperience with the following test instruments a plus, but training will be providedAutism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition (ADOS-2)Childhood Autism Rating Scales - Second Edition (CARS2)Other Autism measures (e.g., ADI-R)Intelligence Tests/Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales - Third EditionProficient writing skillsOrganization and time management skillsProficiency in a second language a plusADOS-2 Certification a plusWillingness to take initiativeInterpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skillsFlexible personality typeExposure to Electronic Health RecordCompensation: $60,000.00 annually; plus, bonus incentivesIf you share our vision and want to help support people to live the fullest lives possible, YAI will be the right place for you.
