Leading Westchester community hospital seeks a Mental Health Counselor to provide counseling services within a correctional center.Responsibilities:Provide assessment, case management, intervention, orientation, treatment planning, individual/group treatment services and discharge planning for patients and their families.Collaborate with internal staff and external community resources for client treatment purposes and relationship building.Prepare reports, maintain statistical data, and attend meetings, as assigned. Follows St. John's Riverside Hospital attendance policy.Maintain clinical records in compliance with all regulatory bodies and SJRH/BHS policies and procedures.
