We are a growing agency and are looking for individuals who want to be a part of our team to provide outpatient counseling and mental health services to the community.Position SummaryYouth For Tomorrow is looking for a post Master's level Virginia license eligible therapist for our residential campus. We are seeking a MSW or RIC therapist to provide clinical services to adolescents age 12 to 17. This is a full-time position with benefits that include weekly group supervision and licensure supervision for the LPC or LCSW license. In our residential program, we serve adolescents age 12 to 17. YFT holds one of the highest level of accreditation among behavioral health care clinical programs, being awarded national accreditation from The Joint Commission. YFT's behavioral health services also are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Post Master's Level candidates who are eligible for licensure supervision in Virginia. We need candidates with demonstrated ability to work with children and adolescents in a counseling setting and function within a treatment team format.***Competitive Northern Virginia salary commensurate with experience, please inquire.*** Flexible schedule options available!Hybrid options: (1) remote day (4) in office days or (4) 10hr daysRole and Responsibilities Facilitate the development of Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) for each assigned clients. Assure necessary input is provided to the Case Managers within 20 days of client arrival to aid in the facilitation of the ISP. Provide input associated with the counseling component of the program to the Case Managers by the 15th day of each month that a quarterly review is due.Perform individual therapy for clients as requested by supervisor. Assess and diagnose individuals as necessary either as an LMHP or under and LMHPs supervision. Organize and implement family group therapy. This may involve weekend work. Facilitate progress group therapy and various topical groups through the Counseling program on a weekly basis.Demonstrate a proactive approach in your clinical support on an on-going basis to the residential and education component team members. Available for 24 hour on-call mental health crises. As a clinician, must be accessible via phone for consultation on mental health issues surrounding your clients or other clients if needed. If clinician is not available they are responsible to secure coverage from another clinician in their absence. As a clinician, must be available for community-based therapy at least once a month and to assist client in reunification and transition from treatment facility back into the community as effective for treatment goals. Available for weekend sessions at least twice a month on a rotating schedule. Available to support clients in phone calls and web based (web cam) interactions with their family members and outside support system to attain the family engagement goals. Participate as an active member of the Treatment Team. Responsible to communicate team review with necessary individuals in clients life. LMHPs are expected to provide board approved social work or counseling supervision to those going for licensure for no remuneration. If a board approved supervisor is needed one will be provided by YFT if the individual is on our staff and the respective board approves. Attend all training mandated by YFT. All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DBHDS and DSS state standards (DBHDS: 12VAC 35-46-800; DSS: 22 VAC 40-151-720). Other duties as assigned by the CEO or Assistant Vice President of Programs.Required Trainings: First Aid/ CPR; Handle With Care: Standard Precautions; Emergency Preparedness; Shaken Baby; Mandatory Reporting; and 25 hours of job specific related training.QualificationsMasters Degree and licensure (LMHP) or under the supervision of an LMPH, to provide counseling services.Demonstrated ability to work with adolescents and families in a counseling setting and function within an evaluation team format. Ability to assess treatment needs and deliver appropriate interventions.Ability to maintain all required documentation.Bi-lingual speaking skills (Spanish and English) helpfulCore Competencies Ability to assess treatment needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
