Job Type Full-time Description Provide a full array of individual, group and family rehabilitative services to persons adversely affected by chemical abuse or dependency in a residential setting. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm Rotating Evening Shift Mon-Thur 1:15pm-10:00pm Rotating 8 week Friday Shift 12:00pm-8:00pm Rotating Weekend Shift Saturday-Sunday 9:30am-8:00pm **Various shifts as needed Essential Job Functions:

  • Using established best practices, coordinate with the Program Director to develop programming to meet the individualized needs of the program residents.
  • Conduct initial interviews with patients to assess therapeutic needs.
  • Conducts individual mental health counseling sessions
  • Conduct group counseling sessions
  • Work with the Medical Director and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to help provide appropriate psychiatric services.
  • Coordinate with onsite RN to have oversight of patients' psychiatric medications.
  • Develop and implement Treatment Plans along with the Clinical Treatment Team.
  • Closely network with other members of the treatment team to coordinate services.
  • Provide appropriate Discharge Plans and Referrals as necessary.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of the physical plant.
  • Exercise knowledge of and teach good nutrition, good physical and mental health practices.
  • Engage residents in the development of a full range of Independent Living Skill activities.
  • Supervise and participate with residents during recreational, vocational and educational activities.
  • Supervise residents in performance and completion of daily chores and responsibilities.
  • Maintain and demonstrate cooking and baking skills, and supervise residents in cooking chores, as needed
  • Safeguard and monitor all residents' medication and valuables.
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of prompt medical attention in cases of illness or accident, report any such incidents to a Supervisor/Director, complete untoward incident reports and documentation as required. Utilize the On-call system as needed.
  • Be available to residents for support, encouragement and direction when needed.
  • Be sensitive and responsive to public relations within the community.
  • Participate in clinical supervision at least bi-weekly.
  • Participate in regular Resident Reviews
  • Attend staff meetings, in-services and conferences/trainings as assigned.
  • Provide training/in-services for staff as requested.
  • Complete records reviews as requested.
  • Provide clinical supervision and Treatment Plan oversight as assigned.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
