We are looking to bring a Mental Health Counsellor to support the needs of the children we serve at our clinic. At Therapy Smarts we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to therapy, drawing upon evidence based and functional training of skills in order to improve the quality of life of those we serve.Qualities that fit this opportunityA Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Licensure or certification as required by state regulations (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).Strong communication and active listening skills.Empathy and the ability to build a therapeutic rapport with clients.Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations.Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and evidence-based interventions.Ethical conduct and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
