We provide training and supervision to pre-licensed professionals, looking to learn about building a remote private practice, and increase their clinical skills.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Mental Health Counselor LLP

As a limited permit holder of Mental Health Counselor, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. You will assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and conduct therapy sessions to help clients address and overcome their mental health challenges. You will also collaborate with other mental health professionals and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling or a related field
• Limited Permit Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in New york

• Experience in providing counseling and therapy services is helpful
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions

. Interest in learning and developing CBT skills, Biofeedback skills, EMDR, and cognitive processing, and mindfulness techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients
• Knowledge of ethical and legal guidelines for counseling and therapy practice
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

this position is a 1099 contract position with no minimum hourly requirements. The pay is $35-40 per hour depending on your skills.
