Job Description:

Alpine Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated, professional, and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Boise, ID. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges and provide support in times of need. This is a full-time position with a very competitive salary and full slate of benefits, including a start-up Stipend, PTO, Paid Holidays, Health Insurance, and 401k with employer match.Counselors at Alpine are paid by the billable hour, and the rates are set by the insurance companies. All counselors receive ` of the billable insurance rates. Alpine is 0 transparent about insurance rates, and counselors are able to see the rates at any time. As insurance rates increase, counselors pay increases alongside. For a typical 50 minute session, the pay scale ranges from $45 - $75, depending upon insurance company. When longer sessions and assessments are factored in, counselors can easily average over $60 per session.

**Job Overview:**As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

**Responsibilities:**- Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' mental health needs- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations- Stay current on best practices and trends in the field of mental health counseling- Maintain 29 available calendar openings per week (not including time off)

**Requirements:**- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or related field- Licensed to practice in the state of Idaho (LCP, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LP)- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulations governing mental health counseling
