This position is with the Department of Mental Health, Beckman Mental Health Center, Abbeville Mental Health Clinic, 101 Commercial Drive, Abbeville, SC 2962.THIS POSITION IS REPOSTED*** Previous applicants are still under consideration and do not need to reapply*** Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I include but are not limited to:1. Provides mental health services in a culturally competent manner which will include but not be limited to assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy to seriously mentally ill adults and children, adolescents and their families. Formulates plans of care and maintains accurate medical records.2. Maintain medical records documentation standards in accordance with all Beckman QA, DMH and CARF policies and procedures.3. Ensure each patient has a LOC established and updated quarterly and is treated at the frequency recommended. 4. Ensures that caseload standards are met.5. Participates in Center's emergency/crisis services by providing telephonic and/or face-to-face contact, to include screenings, assessments of persons for possible hospitalization.6. Participates as an active member of the clinical team. Participates and is engaged in supervisory meetings, staffings, treatment team meetings, and administrative meetings. Is prepared to staff cases that need clinical attention when meeting with treatment team and supervisor. 7. Gathers and submits outcome data in compliance with all Beckman, QA, DMH and CARF policies and procedures. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.Agency (Facility) Minium Requirements: Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management.Note:If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
