This position will be based in the Greenwood County Sheriff's Department.Under limited supervision, position will provide community-based clinical assessments and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults and their families who have interacted with local law enforcement agencies. This position will serve individuals and/or their families who have witnessed or experienced violence or trauma and will assess for other mental health needs. This position will require minimal in-state travel and the ability to provide disaster response interventions locally and to deploy statewide when necessary. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field. Agency Requirements: Two (2) years post-master's experience. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure. Note: When Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet the Agency Requirements.
