OverviewThe Mental Health Scheduling Coordinator position provides coverage in the Staffing Office at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital. The Staffing Office is open 24/7 and responsible for ensuring adequate staffing of the Nursing Staff on the inpatient psychiatric units and the satellite secure residential facility among other related duties. It is considered an essential position due to the nature of the work and is required to have an employee present at all times.This temporary position would be filling available shifts due to vacations and other time off for the permanent Mental Health Scheduling Coordinators with some possibility for regular coverage. Available shifts would vary with shift hours on Night Shift (6:30pm-7:00am) and Day Shift (6:30am-7:00pm). There is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours and the maximum number of hours allowed in a year is 1280 hours.Who May ApplyThis position, Mental Health Scheduling Coordinator - Temporary (Job Requisition #51063), is open to all State employees and external applicants. Some work outside of regular work schedule may be required.
