Position Information:The Mental Health Tech I provides direct patient care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse by performing non-professional patient care services crisis intervention therapeutic interactions and behavior management. The Mental Health Tech I also provides non-direct patient care by providing continuous observation and surveillance of patients through an interactive visual monitoring system or a closed-circuit TV monitoring system.
Experience Requirements:1 Year Clinical - Related Area Required - And 1 Year Clinical - Mental Health Preferred
Education Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or College Courses Nurse Aide Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:Nurse Aide I Required
Hours of Work:7p-7a every other weekend & (3) 3p-11p shifts varying days of week M-F
Weekend Requirements:Every Other
Call Requirements:As needed
