  • Accurately record vital signs
  • Exercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RN
  • Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
  • Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
  • Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
  • Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Education & Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or Certified Nursing Assistant; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.
  • Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and an understanding of mental illness, is preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: May be required to work overtime and flexible hours
