  • Accurately record vital signs
  • Exercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RN
  • Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
  • Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
  • Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
  • Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred; or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, or appropriate therapeutic discipline.
  • Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
  • Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
  • Additional Requirements: May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
