We are currently seeking a dedicated BHT who will serve as a positive role model to support, lead, and encourage youth and young adults. You will have the chance to form lasting relationships, encourage positive behavior, and design activities to promote the overall welfare of participants, all while increasing your knowledge of social work, behavioral studies, and management skills. We believe that personal relationships hold the key to changing behavior, and we place our trust in our passionate team of BHTs. Direct Service BHTs are a big part of our client's treatment team, including therapists, caseworkers, probation officers, legal guardians, etc. NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE OFFERS OUTPATIENT SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE VALLEY. We encourage the development of healthy relationships and personal growth through group and individual treatment programs. Our mentors and clinicians work closely with the client's treatment teams, families, and guardians to ensure they receive the most effective services. MENTORING/DIRECT SERVICES/BEHAVIOR COACHING Our Direct Services program is available for clients from early childhood to youth and teens, all through adulthood, with locations in Phoenix, Glendale, Chandler, Tempe, and Casa Grande. We provide treatment focusing on individual goals, family support, health & wellness, life skills, and emotion management. Individual/Group sessions are provided but not limited to the following:
  • General Mental Health (GMH)
  • Substance Abuse
  • Psycho-educational Topics
  • Anger Management
  • Emotion Regulation
  • Grief/Loss/Trauma
  • Healthy Relationships
ABOUT NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE (NHCC) New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency specializing in outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk youth, teens, and adults throughout the valley. Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages, and empowers clients to enhance their self-esteem and modify behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups, and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths and capabilities and improve decision-making skills.   • Must meet the minimum state licensing requirement for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
    • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Experience working with at-risk or behavioral health with youth, teens, or adults
    • Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions
