MEP Construction - Project Manager/Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing portions of Commercial, Healthcare and Medical Construction projects throughout New York, New York.

Description
MEP Construction - Project Manager/Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY
- Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
- Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned Commercial construction project
- Manage and supervise the completion of MEP portion of a large Ground up project
- Will report directly to Senior Construction Manager and assist with all duties
- Establish and maintain communications between Client and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
- Prepare or assist pre-construction manager with the project budget
- Work with estimating department to prepare buy-out plan
- Coordinate with Sub contractors
- Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
- Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
- Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
- Track and report on all project costs
- Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
- Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
- Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities

- 7+ years of working on commercial construction projects in NYC Building and Construction industry
- Experience with Healthcare or Medical Projects
- Experience in Commercial and Retail markets
- 10+ years of MEP focused work
- Experience handling projects
- Local to New York, NY and Commutable to Manhattan, NY
- Must have experience building in New York City
- Construction Management or equivalent degree

- $200k - $225k
