The MEP Super will need ICI, Resi, (high end) Commercial and P3 project build experience out the ground, top off, refurbishment & Additions/extensions project experience is also a MUST!Position Description:Responsible for Pre-Construction, engineering and field installation of all MEP systems for the business unit or region, reporting to Lead PM/Principal or SVP depending on CM or GC position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ALL duties are related to MEP - Mechanical Electrical Plumbing systems (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, Fire Sprinkler):Leading, supervising and developing all of my clients MEP staff, as well overseeing the management of sub contractors on site whilst managing ICI project from Start to Finish.Acting as a primary liaison and developing and maintaining relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives.Managing the overall MEP pre-construction and procurement, budget, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of M&E systems or equivalent combination of training and experience. Able to identify design features that command cost premiums and recommend alternatives that deliver comparable or improved function. Demonstrated ability to present technical material.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
