Based at our client's site in Saranac Lake, NY, you'll be providing direction to construction contractors and our team the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. You'll take the lead on daily scheduling, service interruption coordination and planning activities of contractors and subcontractors involved in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades at the project site. You'll perform inspections, ensure that the right materials, equipment, and people are there to get the job done. Utilizing your expertise, you will be performing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspection to include all reporting, providing communication to the client, and ensuring that the requirements of the project are successfully met.Minimum 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of larger scale building/rehabilitation projectsMinimum of 4 years' experience shall be as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi contract building projectsAbility to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against the work plan, and perform a details comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project tradesDemonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building requiredOSHA 30 or ability to be obtained within 30 days of start dateWilling and able to work Monday-Friday at the project site locationIdeally, you'll also haveBachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering preferredExperience in healthcare and occupied facilitiesNo sponsorship is available for this positionSelected candidate will be hired by Jacobs or one of the subconsultant team partners.#EastPMCM #NorthPMCMJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
