**Job Summary**
The Merchandise Associate works under the direction of store management to maintain efficient store operations. Provides outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment. Selects great quality merchandise from donations to stock the sales floor. The Merchandise Associate creates a positive employee and customer experience by consistently exhibiting citizenship behaviors and supporting Goodwills mission.

**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**
1) Essential duties include the following:
* Sorts, inspects, and stocks donated goods
* Optimizes the value of donations
* Meets minimum Units Per Hour (UPH) and production effectiveness expectations
* Responsible for exercising due care in the performance of job tasks. Must follow Agency safety policies and procedures established within respective departments. SAFETY BEGINS WITH YOU!
**Requirements**
* Ability to display a positive, friendly attitude in order to maintain a positive work environment
* Mathematical and literacy skills to support job duties
* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.
