We are the industry leaders in designing, planning and realizing exceptional experiences in sports and entertainment.THE ROLEThe Merchandise Associate is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to guests in a variety of duties relating to a retail store service experience including recording transactions and collecting payment with a point of sale system, stocking fixtures and providing a Legendary experience.RESPONSIBILITIESProperly records all transactions via the point of sale system and informs guests of amount owedCollects the proper money for transaction; processes credit card or collects cash and determines correct change for guestsAccounts for all transactions; maintains accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shiftProvides customer service to guests by being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products available for purchaseSuggest additional items to customers, as appropriateEnsure that all fixtures are clean, stocked and tidy to deliver a full serviceMaintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as neededEnsure that the correct close down procedure is followed: all areas of the store are to be left clean, tidy and secure, ready for the next day's serviceAssist with daily, weekly and month inventory as neededProvide guidance to inclusive of retail options and general informationQUALIFICATIONSExcellent guest service skillsAbility to work in fast-paced environmentBasic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bankAbility to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidaysMaintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basisWillingness and drive to exceed the guest expectationsAbility to effectively listen and take direction from supervisorAbility to be on your feet for long hoursAbility to bend and squatAbility to work independently or in a team during set up and to get tasks done quicklyAbility to communicate effectively with management and guestsAbility to work all major events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidaysPractice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety trainingLegends is an Equal Opportunity employer.
