POSITION SUMMARYStock Hispanic Brands products at customers' locations in assigned locations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed.
- Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions; Optimize brand presence in designated areas.
- Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products.
- Maintain excellent working relationship with customers.
- Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing and speaking
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS - Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance
- Food handler's permit
- Driver's License which meets company requirements
- MVR which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Associates degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 1 year of sales experience
- Food product and or consumer packaged goods sales experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA's) - Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
- Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Proven ability to motivate self and others
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS - Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34° F for prolonged periods of time.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings (until approximately 8:00 pm).
- Able to travel (drive) up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Able to stand for a full shift of 8 - 10 hours.
- Can regularly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
- Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.
COMPENSATION - Depending on geography, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, based on achievements of company targets and individual performance expectations
