Job Posting:Merchandiser, Lee Global MerchandisingThe Lee® team is looking for a Global Merchant that will help to create, develop, and manage a consumer and market focused global product. This position will offer in line with the overall brand strategy alongside what is outlined within the Regional briefs to meet or exceed overall corporate financial requirements for our value and good level assortments.
Responsibilities:Strategy
- Based on inputs from Regions help support product strategies to fuel growth
- Pro-actively communicate to key global product creation stakeholders on future strategies and marketplace changes based on Regional inputs
- Support GTM calendar at each milestone meeting in close partnership with PD, Design, & Regional Merchant teams
- Support evaluating processes related, but not limited to costing, new category growth opportunities, etc. to help drive further growth and profitability and productivity for owned categories
Product Direction
- Support mapping out process in partnership with Regions to identify marketplace opportunities and streamline product related requests
- Assist building line plan architecture by product category based on Regional brief inputs (tops, bottoms, etc.)
- Identify carry-overs together with Regional Merch teams and lifecycle management for both fit and SKU
- Build strong cross functional relationships with Regional Merchandising teams in order to create more awareness of specific Regional nuances with regards to line architecture, product needs, and pricing structures
- Support driving merchandising synergies between regions through improving global adoption season to season
Product Creation
- Assist the product creation process for the respective product segment towards brief and goals, including innovation
- Attend weekly fit sessions in order to be the commercial voice of end consumer regardless of regional adoption
- Work with PD and Regional stakeholders on mapping out a costing process (target, brief, prototype, bulk samples) including lead times, minimums and upcharges and identify opportunities for improving cost.
- Support global SMS ordering process
- Drive the chase process in close collaboration with the Regional teams -> strategic response to incremental product and business opportunities, assess and respond to product specific regional requests where appropriate
- Create global tools for key milestones for product overviews to include information such as fit specs, fabric, aesthetic, & costing details

- Manage Portfolio of projects related to optimizing globalization efforts, processes, systems and tools

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion merchandising
- Product Merchandising or Product/Category Line Management
