This position has the responsibility of supporting the company Buyer and Retail Captains by creating, implementing, and monitoring product displays within our various shops. This position spreads happiness and creates exceptional experiences and lasting memories through efficiently and attractively creating retail merchandise displays that capture the attention of Village guests.COMPETENCIES/SCHEDULEThe ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication, collaboration, and stress management skills. They should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. This is a part-time position working between 32-40 hours per week. Must have some Saturday availability.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSof this position include, but are not limited to:Verifies and completes daily receiving entries within our inventory program (Sage) in preparation for merchandising.Coordinates the distribution of received products to the appropriate shop in an agreed upon time frame.Assist with product merchandising in various retail shops to ensure attractive and profitable product displays.Assist with product procurement for designated retail shops as assigned by the Retail Buyer.Be available to assist Retail Captains in the areas of product merchandising and promotions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position requires an employee to be on their feet up to eight hours per day. They are required to twist, bend, reach, stoop, climb steps, and kneel. They must frequently lift or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally 40 to 60 pounds. Can be fast-paced at times. Noise level is sometimes loud. Temperatures may vary.
