The Merchandising Team Leader is responsible for processing, collection, stocking, merchandising, and sale of used goods. The Merchandising Team Leader will serve as a model for Production Clerks in guiding and providing direction to merchandising needs to enhance consistency, visual appearance, and branding of the store.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Operates as the manager on duty in the absence of the retail store manager or assistant store manager to ensure operational expectations are met including opening and closing of the store.

* Trains new cashiers on safety standard operating procedures and ensures that sales floor is safe for staff, shoppers and visitors.

* Trains all staff who work the sales floor on Merchandising SOP.

* Enhances merchandising and organization reputation to meet branding standards at store level.

* Partners with the Retail Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and/or Merchandising

* Manager to analyzes store revenue to seek adjustments in merchandising to increase store revenue.

* Manages merchandising communication for retail sales floor plans and ensures proper fixture utilization.

* Follows the merchandising calendar to ensure displays are collected and completed by deadline dates.

* Assist team members in enhancing merchandising skills and expectations.

* Partners with the Retail Store Manager to provide audit action plans and follows up for store compliance.

* Assist the Retail Store Manager and/or Merchandising Manager with sales floor layout.

* Supports a teamwork driven atmosphere, drives positive reinforcement and motivation to all team members.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* Ability to serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).

* Ability to exercise supervisory authority when delegated.

* Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, works with minimal supervision.

* Works on rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Must be able to lift/carry 30 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

* Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

**Education/Specialized Knowledge Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

* Must have basic math skills.

* Must have the ability to adapt to change and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
