Position Type: Athletics/Activities/Marching Band Percussion InstructorDate Posted: 8/7/2023Location: District-WideClosing Date: Open until filledMarching Band Support Staff Description: The Meriden Public Schools is seeking part-time marching band support instructors for the Maloney High School and Platt High School Marching Bands. Interested applicants must have experience in marching band and/or drum corps performance as well as specialty training in either brass or percussion. An in-depth understanding of drill design, instrumental and marching techniques are requirements of the positions. Responsibilities include teaching drill design, instrumental parts, teaching group lessons and working with the marching band in various capacities. Groups rehearse weekly and perform on most Friday and Saturday nights throughout the fall season. Interested applicants should apply online at www.meriden k12.org.
