Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionWorking closely with Metadata, Editorial, and Marketing teams, the Metadata Coordinator will ensure the accurate and timely flow of title metadata to distributor systems and support of US and global Metadata departments.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage title bibliographic data and systems to ensure data integrity and compliance, including metadata feed management to distributor systemsConduct weekly reporting to monitor and track title updates and communicate changes to relevant departmentsPrepare US title records for critical trade season deadlines, inputting metadata in conjunction with Special Interest and Editorial teamsCoordinate image asset feeds, tracking updates, and liaise with Design to ensure timely distributionContributing to metadata best practice projects and helping to automate processes where possibleSupport to the Head of Metadata, Metadata Specialist, and Global Metadata teamRequirementsThe successful candidate will have a strong background in bibliographic and metadata management and knowledge of sales support or sales operations, ideally within publishing. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and one year of relevant experience is required.
