(Ooltewah, TN Only)Summary:Responsible for inspecting and finishing metal surfaces to ensure cleanliness and absence of surface irregularities before painting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for inspecting and finishing metal surfaces to ensure cleanliness and absence of surface irregularities before painting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Grinds parts and/ or components to acceptable surface profiles.Applies adhesives, caulk, and bondo to appropriate metal surfaces.Smooths surface of parts to a specified finish.Polishes metal surface.Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal.Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
