Job Description: Summary of Position: To apply customer specified finish or standard finishes to the products we manufacture. Detail oriented attitude is essential to achieve the desired quality.
Position Responsibilities: - Use tools and equipment in the finishing/polishing of stainless equipment.
- Read blueprints and finish specifications.
- Use knowledge of all finishes required and procedures required to achieve R.M.S. finish rating.
- Use a RA/RMS meter.
- Attain proper grain structure to achieve a quality and cosmetically finished product up to a 320 grit finish RMS reading.
- Maintain a neat and safe working area.
- Assist supervisor and co-workers as directed.
- Work as a team and or lead a group to finish a project from start to shipment and work through problems that arise during manufacturing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities: - Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong collaborative and accommodation tendencies
- Ability to multi-task, managing a wide variety of priorities simultaneously with limited supervision
- Computer literate, preferably with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and ERP (familiarity with Epicor a definite plus)
- Effective written & verbal communication skills are required
