The Metal Hardware Assembler is responsible for operating the appropriate CNC, fabrication and power tool equipment while following all safety precautions as required. The right candidate will have a fun, confident and positive attitude while ensuring customers' orders are manufactured to world class specifications.   • Cuts and assembles materials to specifications.?
  • Quality checks each order to ensure standards are met.?
  • Package each order to completion and prepare for shipment?.
  • Uses power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare raw materials for assembly.?
  • Cuts, grinds, and lays out a wide variety of materials including: plate, tube, pipe, channel, and angle.?
  • Operates industrial forklifts.?
  • Follows all safety standards and procedures.?
  • Keeps shop and work area clean and organized.?
  • Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality.?

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.?
  • Mechanical inclination and willingness to dive in, get your hands dirty, and work.?
  • Experience in CNC, construction, fabrication, and metal.?
  • Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programs, shipping experience is a plus.?
  • Able to be flexible with work schedule, occasional weekend work may be required.?

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
