Metal Machine Operator/Machine Setup Responsibilities - Set up and operate metal stamping and fabricating machines such as presses, punch presses, shears, and brake presses.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and pressure for optimal performance.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished parts.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet required specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Identify nonconforming parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Identify tooling that needs repaired or sharpened.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metalworking processes.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Benefits/Compensation - Full Time
