Bilfinger Inc. is a leading international services contractor with a proven track record in providing integrated, multi-disciplined support services and maintenance solutions to international blue-chip clients, primarily in the energy, petrochemical, industrial, and utilities sector. We are currently recruiting for Insulators for our Evonik Pasadena, TX location
Duties:
- Fabricate and install - pipe and duct insulation i.e. fiberglass, elastomeric, polyisocyanurate
- Operate equipment such as lifts, beader crimper, brakes, shears, and hand tools
- Inventory and order material as needed
- Works under the supervision of the Insulation Foreman and Journeyman
- This is a local, non per diem position
Requirements:
- General knowledge of materials and installation experience a plus but will train
- Ability to work from lifts, scaffolding, and ladders (safety equipment provided where required)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in various environments - cold, hot, tunnels, roof-tops, elevated surfaces
- Willingness to work overtime or modified schedule if the project requires
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight for periods of time, upon requirements of the project
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work 40 hours per week plus overtime when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Required to wear appropriate PPE's on job site at all times: hard hat, safety glasses & steel to shoes
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds often and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to follow both verbal and written instruction
- Must have the ability to take direction, comprehend instructions and work well with others
- Must be able to work safely alone & as a team
