Read and record electric meter indexes into computerized handheld systems. Responsible for accurate and timely meter readings of electric and gas meters. Report hazardous conditions, meter tampering and meter conditions. Timely completion of assignments. Assist in ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction. Adhere to safety policies and practices. Maintain current meter location records and maps. Responsible for protection and maintenance of all assigned company equipment. Work field collections. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have high school diploma or GED. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be willing to work in various weather conditions including heat/cold, rain and snow. Must be willing to work extra hours as required, including storm work.
