+ Perform daily radio reads and manual reads for billing purposes.
+ Complete assigned work orders, including meter readings, verification, and turn on/turn off tasks.
+ Conduct light maintenance on meter boxes, including replacing lids and clearing debris.
+ Raise, lower, or replace meter boxes, and address meter tampering or inaccuracies.
+ Replace water meter registers and transmitters as required.
+ Report daily activities and communicate any changes with the supervisor.
+ Track accurately any input codes for billing inquiries and report discrepancies.
+ Provide great customer service and assist with general customer inquiries in the field.
About the Schedule
Work Hours:
+ Monday - Friday
+ 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
+ *On-Call Required
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent education.
+ One (1) year of experience in the care and maintenance of plumbing, irrigation, or pool trade .
+ Valid Florida Driver's License at time of hire.
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
About Everything Else:
Starting Pay: $17.72 (Step 1)
Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
