Job Title: Methods Agent/Engineer - Aerospace Industry

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Methods Agent/Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality aerospace components and systems. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process planning, and continuous improvement within the aerospace industry.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Adheres to General Work Requirements
- Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
- Assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents
- Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
- Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis
- Assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
- Assists Methods Planners with tool designs
- Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Engineering, Business or related field. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education = 2 years of experience.
- You typically Minimum 2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, composite paneling or related area
- Experience with composite paneling is a must.
- You have basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5
- You have basic knowledge of Project Management principles
- You have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
- You have manufacturing background (preferred)
- You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering (preferred)
