Location: Nashville,TN, USA
This is a full-time, Non-Civil Service position with Metro Action Commission, and includes medical, dental, pension, and other insurance benefits. This position is under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and Administrative Services and Operations Director and Executive Director, this role will perform carpentry, repair, and electrical work in the buildings and on the grounds of Metro Action Commission.

* Serve assigned buildings and related areas
* Replace or repair unfixable and/or broken fixtures, furniture and floors
* Draw rough sketches of projects needed
* Assist in estimating materials and supplies
* Perform tasks related to the repair, installation, maintenance and testing/trouble-shooting of electrical equipment
* Report any potential hazards immediately to supervisors
* Use protective clothing or gear as required
* Assist in moving furniture and other fixtures
* Deliver various items from one Metropolitan Action Commission site to another site
* Perform a variety of related tasks such as minor repairs
* Attend meetings as required
* Perform other task related duties as required
High school diploma and one (1) year of experience working in maintenance. Valid driver license.
