Metrology Technician - Grand Rapids, MI
Main activities
- Coordination/execution of dimensional verification of products and preparation of measurement reports
- Measurement of articles and products according to test conditions/drawings and 3D data to document product qualification and minimum test points
- Definition of necessary measurement standards for effective metrological validation
- Ensuring testing applications
- Participation in the planning of measuring equipment concepts
- Confirmation of technical specifications of our components in collaboration with the design department
- Implementation of internal training courses on measuring and testing tools
- Support in building up the supplier list in cooperation with purchasing
- Ensuring technological and documentary surveillance in your field
Required skills
- Test & Measurement Instrumentation

- Completed technical training in the field of plastics production, measurement technology
- First professional experience in the field of measurement technology

- We require a secure knowledge of (2D / 3D) metrology
- Good written and spoken English skills in a technical environment
