Position Summary Position Summary Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive network of quality services for women with a specific focus on providing care that helps reduce severe maternal morbidity rates. Responsibilities Essential Functions Oversees the establishment and operation of a multi-site, high quality, efficient, culturally competent, family-centered system that identifies, assesses, and serves women identified at high risk for experiencing severe maternal morbidity events. Responsible for providing clinical oversight of patient care services offered by the CMHI. Assists in designing and implementing a multi-faceted funding plan to ensure adequate funds to meet programmatic needs, Ensures organizational compliance with standards and policies set by Orlando Health and CMHI funding agencies. Networks with other non-profits, governmental organizations, and family support agencies; participates in and provides leadership to community coordinative bodies throughout Central Florida and nationally. Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and performance counseling. Ensures compliance with all contracts and grants, including all grant/contract deliverables. Maintains comprehensive, accurate, and timely collection of data to facilitate reporting of program metrics to CMHI leadership, contracted partners, and grant funders. Responsible for managing the CMHI mobile health service that delivers multi-disciplinary healthcare services via a mobile healthcare unit in multiple locations. Ensures mobile units are maintained and functionally operational, addressing mechanical issues as needed in conjunction with the Orlando Health Fleet Department. Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions Ensures the provision of adequate equipment, furnishing and training to all department staff. Works cooperatively with other departments. Works collaboratively with outside sources to enhance services for patients. Develops and updates job descriptions, core competencies, coaching plans, and orientation programs for staff. Attends training programs and departmental meetings and leads and facilitates departmental meetings. Attends, coordinates, and facilitates at administrative meetings and meetings with community partners. Qualifications Education/Training Bachelor's degree required in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing or a closely related field. Licensure/Certification None. Experience Four years of managerial experience in healthcare is required. In addition, extensive experience working with socially overburdened families and culturally diverse populations is strongly preferred.
