The primary purpose of the Manager Implant Coordination and Equipment Services Periop Inventory is to serve as the primary contact for all issues pertaining to provision, inventory and stock of tissue and mechanical implant products, and equipment and supplies for the perioperative areas. Supervises staff and ensures appropriate business processes are implemented to maintain effective inventory for the Main Operating Room, Same Day Surgery/DOC, and the Central Sterile Supply Department.

Supervises staff and ensures appropriate business processes are implemented to maintain effective inventory for the Main Operating Room, Same Day Surgery/DOC, and the Central Sterile Supply Department.
Bachelors Degree required. Five (5) years of related professional experience in Inventory Control activities, preferably in a hospital or other healthcare setting. Two (2) years of supervisory/lead experience required. Must be familiar with standard inventory formula application and practices, along with computerized inventory control systems. Experience with Implants for perioperative services required. Outstanding leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment required. Demonstrated knowledge is necessary of how to accomplish superior performance in a unionized environment. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may besubstituted for the Bachelors Degree requirement on a year for year basis
