Position: Manager MEP Systems
Department: Plant Services & Engineering Admin
Shift: 8AM-5PM
Status: Full-time/ 80 hours per pay period
Facility: Miami Valley Hospital
The Department Manager for Plant & Maintenance Services is responsible for plant, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operations. Including maintenance of those systems as well as the general building maintenance of the following locations: MVH main campus, Mini U, 25 Foraker, 30/40 Wyoming, Brown Street therapy, Jamestown ED, Austin Blvd ED, and Beavercreek ED. Manage compliance with Joint Commission & other regulatory requirements at listed locations. Responsible for expense budget creation and management. Assist in managing various systems and operational requirements and or initiatives. As examples: infant monitoring systems, lenel access and alarm systems (for all Premier Health hospitals and off sites including 3rd party managed properties), participation in Emergency Management and other hospital committees. Manage team leaders and front-line staff when requested or necessary. Oversee the door, door hardware, building envelope, LS components for Capital projects. Assist the Director in duties as assigned, including acting as Director in the Director's absence.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED

Preferred educational qualifications: Bachelors
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Administrative and user level knowledge of TMA
EOC and LS requirements of TJC and CMS
BC and NFPA building codes
CADD operating knowledge
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 10+ years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: 10+ yrs. In hospital facilities management experience.
Preferred experience: 15+ yrs. In hospital facilities experience
